HANCOCK COUNTY — The Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation will have an in-person Kindergarten Registration on April 6 and 8 from 3 to 6 p.m.
The kindergarten student and one parent/guardian (no siblings) can visit Fortville Elementary, McCordsville Elementary, or Mt. Comfort Elementary during the following assigned times:
Last Names A-I: 3-4 p.m.
Last Names J-R: 4:15-5:15 p.m.
Last Names S-Z: 5:30-6 p.m.
MVCSC Kindergarten Registration consists of three simple steps.
Step 1 is to visit www.mvcsc.k12.in.us for the appropriate online registration link after March 27.
Step 2 is to come to Kindergarten Registration & submit paperwork (see the Kindergarten Registration article on www.mvcsc.k12.in.us for details). Students will meet the teachers and receive a welcome gift.
Step 3 is to attend the Back-to-School Night (if allowed) at the end of July.

MVCSC has received approval from the Hancock County Health Department for these events.
