GREENFIELD
Aaron R. Smith, age 33, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021. He was born in Noblesville on September 18, 1987 to David and Rita (Hungerman) Smith. He graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 2006.
Aaron was a self-employed IT network engineer. He enjoyed fishing, swimming, and soccer. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Aaron loved all of his extended family in Pittsburgh.
He is survived by his parents, David and Rita (Hungerman) Smith of Suffolk, VA and brother, Benjamin Smith (Andrea) of Bluffton, SC. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Regis and Eileen Hungerman and grandmother, Margaret Smith.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. Burial will take place on a later date at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. As a reminder, the government mandate requires guests to wear masks when inside our building. We must limit the number of guests at a time and please practice social distancing.
