GREENFIELD
Norma Lee Trieschman, 77, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at her residence. She was born July 10, 1943 in Rush County the daughter of Charles and Lucille (Whitfield) Fairchild.
Norma was a 1961 graduate of Carthage High School. In her earlier years, she was a waitress at Sullivan’s Restaurant, and while working there she met the love of her life, John Trieschman. She enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking and watching cooking shows. Norma was also an avid fan of Andy Griffith.
She is survived by her daughter, Penny (Michael) Elam of Greenfield; grandson, Tyler Elam of Greenfield; and an aunt, Joann Oliver of Greenfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Trieschman; a brother, Larry Fairchild; and her beloved dog, Milo.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, December 18, 2020 at Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:50 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Due to Covid-19 and the governor’s mandate, face coverings will be required.
