”The Game’s Afoot” has Hancock County connections

NOBLESVILLE — The Hamilton County Theatre Guild presents “The Game’s Afoot,” a Ken Ludwig comedy, through Dec. 13 at the Belfry, 10690 Greenfield Ave. The production is directed by Hancock County resident Eric Matters and stars Fortville resident Stephani McDole. It is December 1936, and actor William Gillette, known for his role as Sherlock Holmes, has invited his fellow cast members to his Connecticut castle for the weekend. But when a guest turns up dead, the festivities in this isolated house of tricks and mirrors turn dangerous. It is then up to Gillette, assuming the persona of Holmes, to track down the killer in this holiday whodunit. Visit thebelfrytheatre.com for ticket prices and show times.

”Miracle” at Buck Creek will stream live

Staged with live Foley effects and a score of favorite seasonal tunes, “Miracle on 34th Street” is a holiday tradition. Performances are Dec. 12 at 8 p.m. and Dec. 13 at 2:30 p.m. Visit buckcreekplayers.com for tickets and the link to view the show.
