Photo ops with the Big Guy

FORTVILLE — Need some one-on-one with the Big Guy? And by that, we mean Santa Claus. Piney Acres Farm, 1115 E. County Road 1000 N., will host photos with Santa from noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 12 and 13. Or stop by Holmes Family Insurance, 412 S. Maple St. in Fortville from 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 18.

Library offers take-and-make felt ornament kit

GREENFIELD/NEW PALESTINE — Teens (ages 12 to 18) can pick up a free take-and-make kit to needle-felted holiday decorations. Each kit contains the supplies and instructions necessary to complete the project. While supplies last, kits can be picked up at the children’s desk all day during open library hours on Dec. 14 at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road, Greenfield, or the New Palestine Branch Library at 5731 West U.S. 52, New Palestine. No registration necessary. One kit per participant. Visit hcplibrary.org for more information.

Enjoy breakfast with Santa at the Indiana State Museum

INDIANAPOLIS — Enjoy a delicious and festive breakfast featuring holiday music, decorations and Santa’s helpers in the Great Hall at Santa’s Holiday Breakfast at the Indiana State Museum, 650 W. Washington St. Breakfast is served from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 12, 19 and 20. Visitors will be seated to accommodate for social distancing, and a touch-free beverage and buffet service will be available. After breakfast, visit with Santa in his sleigh and take a ride on the Santa Claus Express train. Registration required 24 hours prior to each event date.
