HANCOCK COUNTY — Shop With A Deputy applications are now available at the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department as well as the county jail after office hours. Anyone in need for some winter assistance for their children can pick up an application or let others in need know about the program. Applications are due back at the sheriff’s department by Wednesday, Nov. 25. Officials have altered the program and will not be able to take the children shopping due to COVID-19, but it still will be able to provide assistance to those families who are accepted into the program.
