HANCOCK COUNTY — The Hancock Health Foundation is seeking nominations for its annual recognition of a local organization and individual whose service efforts have created positive change in the health and wellness of local communities.
The Bert Curry Healthy Community Award is named in honor of the foundation’s first executive director and recognizes an individual who has demonstrated a commitment to helping others and improving health and wellness in the community.
The Bobby Keen Healthy Community Award is named in honor of the former Hancock Regional Hospital president and CEO and recognizes a hospital program or local organization that has made a significant and positive impact on the health and wellness of the community.
The foundation’s awards and scholarships committee receives nominations and annually selects at least one recipient to receive each award. Recipients will be notified and announced publicly before the end of the year.
