The suspect involved in an armed robbery at a Circle K gas station in Greenfield early Thursday was reported to have left in this vehicle -- a gray SUV, possibly a 2000 Nissan Outlander.

GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a gas station early Thursday.

The robbery was reported at about 3:27 a.m. Oct. 29 at Circle K, 2243 N. State St., according to a post on the police department’s Facebook page.

The suspect entered the store and asked to buy an item sold behind the counter, police said. When the employee opened the cash drawer to complete the transaction, the suspect pulled a handgun and demanded the cash.

The suspect left the area in a gray SUV, possibly a 2000 Nissan Outlander, according to the post.
