CUMBERLAND — Leaf pickup in Cumberland is underway through Dec. 11.
Leaves should be raked into a row at the edge of the road so that the town’s leaf vacuum can reach them. Leaves that cannot be reached will not be picked up that week. No limbs, brush, rocks or other debris may be mixed in with leaves.
Property owners with leaves in drainage areas may be subject to penalties.
The pickup schedule is as follows:
Mondays will be Oak Boulevard North, South and West; Oak Court; Maple Court; Beachwood Lane; and town sections of County Road 700W.
Tuesdays will be Woodland West and East; Hickory Drive, Lane and Court; and town sections of Mt. Comfort Road.
Wednesdays will be Cumberland Heights, Harvest Glen, Valley Brook Farms, Valley Brook Village, Autumn Woods, Cobblefield Estates, Buck Creek Road and Cumberland Village.
Thursdays will be Gale Crest, 10th Street and any areas left from Wednesday.
Fridays will be Cumberland proper, Washington Cove, Muessing, Glen Oaks Village and town residents on U.S. 40.
