HANCOCK COUNTY — The Indiana State Department of Health added 14 COVID-19 cases in Hancock County Friday, raising the total to 1,098.
The county’s seven-day moving average of positive cases rose to 13. Since Oct. 10, the average has been the highest the county has seen throughout the pandemic.
No deaths were added Friday, keeping the county’s total at 44. Another 211 new tests administered raised that total to 26,788. A total of 18,149 individuals have been tested who live in the county. The county’s seven-day positivity rate for all tests between Oct. 3 and 9 is 6.8%, and the cumulative rate is 4.3%. The seven-day positivity rate for unique individuals between Oct. 3 and 9 is 11.5% and the cumulative rate is 6%.
The state’s COVID-19 dashboard reported Friday that data included about 300 cases whose reporting was delayed due to a technical issue over the past few days, but it was not clear whether Hancock County was affected.
