GREENFIELD
Wanita L. Marshall, age 91, died Saturday October 3, 2020. Born February 19, 1929, she was the daughter of Manford and Ruth (Tate) Curtis. She was a 1947 graduate of Charlottesville High. Wanita married Robert G. Marshall on November 29, 1947, at Nameless Creek Christian Church in Greenfield, Indiana. Wanita co-owned Century 21 Marshall Realtors with her husband Robert for 25 years before retiring in 1995. She was a member of the Greenfield Christian Church, the Hancock County Board of Realtors and the East Side MLS (MIBOR) for many years. Wanita loved playing cards, collecting primitives, gardening and spending time with her family.
We will miss you dearly but, as your great-grandson Marshall told you, “I will carry you in my heart forever”, and we all will.
Surviving her are her children, Mark Marshall, Marsha (Blake) Robinson and Jerry Marshall; two grandchildren, Robert C. Coulter and Stephanie Walton; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Robert Marshall; sister, Carolee Speer.
Private visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Private services and entombment will follow at Washington Park East. As a reminder, masks are required in public indoor spaces and please practice social distancing.
