It is with great sadness that the family of Nancy JoAlta (Williams) Yeiter announce her passing on August 27, 2020, at the age of 69. Nancy was an angel who walked the earth for a time.
Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Tony; her son, David; her two sisters, Dianne (Williams) McKee and Susan (Williams) Boyles; her brother, Joseph Williams; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Martha Jane (Hunt) and Dale E. Williams and older brother, David Williams. Nancy was raised on the family farm near Greenfield, IN.
She moved to Vincennes where she completed high school before going on to graduate from Indiana University where she met her husband, Tony. Nancy lived in Crawfordsville, IN, for many years before retiring to Sun City Hilton Head, SC. Nancy was a glass artist, loving mother, and care giver. She was lovingly referred to as “Nancy Nurse”. David McKee, her nephew, was among the many, through many surgeries, who received her care and open heart.
Those whose lives Nancy touched are invited to the INDIANA FUNERAL CARE, at 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, for a memorial to pay their respects and to reminisce. Internment with a graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2020, at Etna Green East Cemetery near Warsaw, IN.
