We are in a civil war. However, contrary to previous elections, it is not along traditional party lines as “Them vs. Us.” If you take an honest look, it is the National Democratic Party that is in this civil war. It is “Them vs. Them.”
The extreme far-left groups in cities with recent destruction and occupiers — in places that will likely never vote Republican or Libertarian anyway — are attempting to overtake us via the Democratic Party. With media assistance, anarchists, with a goal of Marxism, are being shown as winning. Whether this is reality or narrative — fair or not — the entire Democratic Party is being portrayed this way. I do not trust most of the media. I do not believe my local Democratic friends are for Marxism. They are, however, in a tough spot.
The National Democratic Party is now on the front line to protect our Democratic Constitutional Republic in this war. Our elected officials love the power we have allowed our current system to provide. The number of powerful leadership positions, compared to a limited number in a socialist or communist regime, wins… for now. Although some will argue many policies of the left have already crossed the line, at this point the National Democratic Party has not relinquished. However, they are not seriously defending as they walk that razor-thin edge to secure the votes of the extremists. Although both sides court their extremes for votes, this time is different, and I think deep down we all know it.
Don’t get me wrong: I am not counting on the National Democratic Party to save us right now. If they gain control, the risk of that party being overrun by well-funded, action-motivated extreme leftists is too high. We now know this is a genuine threat and the current leadership of that party is not strong enough to stop it. This makes the upcoming election extremely important. Until they adamantly reject tearing down and replacing our form of government — that our elected officials on both sides swore, under oath, to uphold and protect — our elections will no longer be about voting for Democratic, Libertarian or Republican candidates. Elections will only decide whether we keep our Republic or allow it to be destroyed and replaced by Marxism.
The media and National Democratic Party have placed the average Democratic voter in this position. It is laid out plainly, and without apology, on cable news, social media and print media throughout the country. What used to be thoughtful rhetorical has now been announced as a goal by these factions. Media consistently shows the Democratic Party, presumably in its entirety, embracing it.
It is terrifying to see this war happening in America, but Republicans and Libertarians are not going to stop it. It isn’t our conflict. The Democrats have been heading toward this civil war for a long time. They need to decide what kind of party they are going to be in the future. It is up to both parties to uphold our Constitution and denounce Marxism. I hope the D.C. Democrats step up to the challenge. Until they do, individual American voters must decide what type of government we want.
“Republicans say this every election.” True — but the Marxist movement has never been financially backed like this before. It scares me.
This is much more than an awkward conundrum we find ourselves in. This is a vital reason to join forces. A message must be sent to our parties. Courting communism is unacceptable.
I realize nobody wants to do this, but it is not unprecedented. We all came together as Americans after 9/11. Why? Because our country came under attack. It is under attack in a different way now.
Sure, I am a conservative. As a Democrat, your first instinct is to tune me out. However, if you have read this far, we still have hope. We will make a deal with you.
We won’t ask.
Hold your nose and vote for the Constitution this time, and we won’t ask who you voted for. Despite our passions, we cannot give communism a stronger foothold. Otherwise, it is likely nobody will have a voice…or party… sooner than we might think.
We all know, deep in our gut, there is something sinister happening behind the scenes. The threat to overthrow our government has been openly stated. Now it is funded. Let’s live to argue about what is constitutional another day… after we save the Republic in November.
