HANCOCK COUNTY — Hancock County Extension Homemakers Association is offering a $750 scholastic award to a resident of Hancock County wishing to further his or her education.
Applicants must be 25 years of age or older and a resident of Hancock County. The award is typically granted for undergraduate degrees and will be given with regard to financial need. Former applicants and winners may apply again. The award must be used for educational expenses. Applications must be typed or printed clearly and include the following information: a copy of transcript of course completed; a copy of college/school acceptance letter if courses have not started; two letters of recommendation; a biographical statement, including education background, financial need, volunteer or community service activities and other pertinent information.
Membership in Hancock County Extension Homemakers Association is not a requirement.
Applications are available at the Purdue Extension Office, 802 N. Apple St. in Greenfield. Applications must be postmarked by March 15, 2020, and sent to Hancock County Extension Homemakers Scholarship Committee, 802 N. Apple St., Greenfield, IN 46140.
