Grandparents meddle in “Over the River and Through the Woods”

INDIANAPOLIS – The Epilogue Players present “Over the River and Through the Woods” Nov. 14 through 24 at the Hedback Theater, 1849 N. Alabama St. Nick joins his beloved, but annoying, grandparents for their traditional Sunday dinner to tell them the job he’s been waiting for would take him across the country. The news doesn’t sit so well. Thus begins a series of schemes by his grandparents to keep Nick around. They do their level best including inviting to dinner a lovely — and single — lady as bait. GREENFIELD – Take time out for some holiday laughs this season with the cast of the CrazyLake Acting Company’s “Sorry! Wrong Chimney!” showing Dec. 13, 14, 20, 21 and 22 at the H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts, 122 W. Main St., Greenfield. Newlywed David Tuttle (Luke Agee) is moonlighting as a mall Santa so he can afford to buy his wife Samantha (Ali Kern) a fur coat for Christmas. He tells her he’s working late at the office, but Samantha suspects her neighbor Natalie (Stephani McDole) is ‘the other woman.’ Samantha enlists Natalie’s psychiatrist husband (Corey Yeaman) in a plot to get David to love her again. But when the notorious Santa burglar (Trever Brown) and his gun-toting fiancée (Chris Vehorn) show up, it’s up to the confused policeman (Coy Hutcherson) to sort it all out.
