GREENFIELD
Ruth Marie Bundy, age 98 of Greenfield, passed away Friday, October, 11, 2019 at Golden Living Center Brandywine. She was born June 26, 1921 in Hancock County, Indiana to the late Ralph G. and Mabel E. (Wright) Dobbins.
Ruth was a graduate of Mount Comfort High School. She married Harry L. Bundy on September 7, 1941. Prior to her retirement she was an office manager in the healthcare industry.
Ruth was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church. She enjoyed genealogy, was known as the Hancock County historian and was very computer savvy. Ruth loved hunting, fishing and flowers, especially orchids. Dancing on Saturday night was a favorite pastime.
Ruth is survived by her children, Steven L. (Jane) Bundy, Connie M. (David) Bundy-Matlock, Linda S. (Steve Morrow) Bundy-Palmer, Teresa L. (Dan) Bundy-Forst; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry in 2003 and brother, Clyde Dobbins, 3 grandchildren; Timothy, Stephanie & Kit Matlock, and son-in-law Donald Palmer.
Friends may call Sunday October 20, 2019 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral Service will be Monday October 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Russell Jarvis officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
