GREENFIELD — The Hancock County Community Foundation recently awarded the Kenneth Butler Memorial Soup Kitchen a grant to support its upcoming community carnival.
The $1,000 grant will help fund the event, which takes place from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, to celebrate the soup kitchen’s 10th anniversary. The carnival will be held in the Greenfield Christian Church’s lower parking lot and the alley to the west of the soup kitchen’s building. Food will be served inside the building.
