County disaster board to meet next week
GREENFIELD — Hancock County Community Organization Active in Disaster invites the public to its board meeting next week.
The COAD will meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at the Hancock County Emergency Operations Center, 640 S. Franklin St. in Greenfield. There, the group will discuss the organization’s finances and bylaws; elect a board of directors for 2019-20; and discuss upcoming warming center operations, according to a news release from Jim Peters, a local coordinator for Salvation Army Hancock County and co-chair of Hancock County COAD.
