GREENFIELD
Ronald Ray Nance, 71, of Greenfield, formerly of Frankfort, passed away at his residence, Thursday, March 21, 2019. He was born May 20, 1947, in Frankfort, to James C. and Ethel (Williams) Nance Sr. In 1966, Ron graduated from Windfall High School.
He worked as a machinist for Anderson Greenwood in Houston, TX. Ron enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a big “Harley Guy.”
Ron is survived by his wife, Kathleen “Kathy” Picard-Nance; daughter, Teresa Nance, of Greenfield; and sisters, Connie (John) Foster, of Lafayette, Judy Collier, of Thorntown, and Sybil Kouns, of Lebanon.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Virginia Browning; and two brothers, James C. Nance Jr. and Jack Nance.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to the start of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Pastor Terry Chace will officiate. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Ron’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
