GREENFIELD
Michael “Miguel” George, age 15, of Greenfield, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. He was born in Greenfield on October 24, 2003 to Karli Carmichael and Michael W. George.
Michael loved swimming and going for walks. He also enjoyed reading, especially Harry Potter, bowling, field trips and riding on the school bus. Miguel loved being with his family and going to Dairy Queen and Steak ‘n Shake.
Michael had a rare genetic disorder, Hunter’s Syndrome. While this disorder affected him physically and cognitively, it never limited his spirit. He loved going on adventures and had many friends. Michael had a short life, but he had a positive impact on the Greenfield Community.
Miguel is survived by his mother and step-father, Karli Carmichael & Tyler Purciful of Greenfield; father, Michael George of Trafalgar; grandparents, Kristin & Chuck Fewell of Greenfield, Dee Carmichael & Sharon Mann of Greenfield, and Bruce & Margie George of Franklin; brother, Riley Michael Purciful of Greenfield; and aunt, Melissa (James) George Fleek of Fountaintown.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Elks Lodge, 820 S. State Street, Greenfield, IN 46140 for the Michael George Fund, which supports special needs children in the community.
