RUSHVILLE
Barry “Scott” Cupp, 65, of Rushville, left this life to be with his heavenly father on December 28, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus, IN. He was born July 9, 1953 to Douglas and Joan (Collier) Cupp. He was preceded in death by his father, Doug, and one sister Cynthia (Frank) Swarts.
Scott graduated from Eastern Hancock High School in 1971. He married Brenda (Allen) on August 21, 1971. Scott was a member of Christ Fellowship Church of Rushville and served on the advisory board.
Prior to that, he was a member for many years at Christ Fellowship-Knightstown. Scott enjoyed sitting on the porch with a nice cup of coffee having heart-to-heart talks with friends, family and neighbors. Nothing made him as happy as spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Scott Cupp loved Jesus and was proud of the fact that his whole family loved Jesus. He loved well, and many lives were blessed by him.
Scott is survived by his wife, Brenda; mother, Joan; one sister, Terri (Tim) Gilliland; three children: Jason (Nichole) Cupp, Jesse (Jessica) Cupp, Amy (Chris) Reason; grandchildren: Kyler, Caleb and Mia Reason, Shepard, Vance, David and Livy Cupp; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, whom he dearly loved.
Memorial service will be held at Christ Fellowship, 4833 S. SR 109, Knightstown, IN, on January 12th at 2 p.m. with visitation at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in memory of Barry Scott Cupp.
