Saturday is Free Comic Book Day

GREENFIELD — Hometown Comics, 1506 N. State St., hosts Free Comic Book Day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. For this one-day-only event, customers can select four special edition “Free Comic Book Day” comics. Special guests include local sci-fi/fantasy author George Kramer, specials, prize drawings and an appearance by “The Finest,” a G.I. Joe costuming club. Join classes to learn ballet, hip-hop and more

GREENFIELD — Summer at Wilkerson Dance begins the week of June 4 with classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, modern and tumbling for age 2 and up for beginners and advanced students. The six-week session runs through July 19 (a week off for July 4) with possible opportunities to perform at the Pennsy Art and Musical Festival. Minecraft Club offers creative fun at library

GREENFIELD — Kids in grades kindergarten through 5 can play Minecraft from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road. Minecraft, a game about building virtual blocks into just about anything, allows players to experiment, take risks and learn from mistakes in an interactive playground where constant challenges require your brain to think every moment.
