INDIANAPOLIS
Gary D. McCreery, 57, of Indianapolis, passed away January 26, 2018. He was born November 9, 1960 in Greenfield, to the late Albert W. and Patsy A. Medlin McCreery.
Gary was a graduate of Greenfield Central High School and also the Mike Maroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma. Gary married Gayle A. Dewey, August 1, 1987, and was an Air Traffic Controller for the Federal Aviation Administration for 27 years. He was a long time member of Calvary Tabernacle.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 12 noon at Calvary Tabernacle, 902 Fletcher Ave., with visitation one hour prior to service.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Gayle A. McCreery; children, Spencer C. McCreery (Sierra Siebenlist) and Elizabeth A. Lane (Joshua); brothers, Terry W. (Raylene) and Timothy G. (Gabriella) McCreery; half-sister, Michelle Bowman (Jack Straw); and several nieces and nephews.
