GREENFIELD – The city of Greenfield plans a two-week program to rid city properties of heavy trash items. For city residents on the east side of State Road 9, heavy trash pickup is April 22; for those on the west side of State Road 9, it is April 29.
Trash will only be picked up inside of city limits. Items should be placed by 7 a.m.; no items will be picked up in alleyways. No items will be picked up at business addresses, apartment complexes or churches.
Prohibited items include household trash, limbs, tires, oil, batteries, TVs, computer monitors and others as designated by the street commissioner. Paint may only be picked up if it is dry and in an open container. No building materials will be picked up.
