FORTVILLE — Mt. Vernon High School and Mt. Vernon Middle School start times have switched for the 2016-2017 school year, school officials report.
Beginning on the first day of school, Monday, Mt. Vernon High School hours will be 8:25 a.m.-3:20 p.m., and Mt. Vernon Middle School hours will be 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The two schools’ hours have switched to help with both bus traffic and overflow of pick-up lines.
Elementary school times have remained the same (7:45 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.) for McCordsville Elementary, Fortville Elementary and Mt. Comfort Elementary.
