Kyle Ethan Dale Gulley, 20, of Greenfield, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016. He was born on Dec. 16, 1995, in Indianapolis as the son of Randy D. and Elizabeth (Beeson) Gulley.
Kyle graduated from New Palestine High School in 2014. He was currently a student at Ivy Tech Community College pursuing his fire science degree.
He completed his EMT training through the Sugar Creek Township Fire Department and completed Fire Fighter 1 and 2 with Area 31 School. Kyle was currently interning at Sugar Creek Township Fire Department. He also worked for Orscheln for two years and was a member with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Track and Rescue Team.
Kyle attended Amity United Methodist Church. He was a 10-year member of 4-H, where he showed swine and llamas. He loved reading, 4-wheel drive trucks, fishing, the outdoors and his dog named Bo.
Kyle is survived by his parents, Randy D. and Elizabeth “Beth” Gulley both of Greenfield; brother, Kenneth Gulley of Greenfield; girlfriend, Faith Schonauer of Cumberland; grandparents, Marjorie Gulley of Greenfield and Ramona (Bill) Williams of Greenfield; aunt and uncle, Rick (Connie) Gulley of Greenfield; uncle, John Schaeffer of Greenfield; cousin, John Schaeffer, Jr. of Greenfield; great- aunt and uncle, Susie and Wayne Melton of Greenfield; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Kenneth Beeson and Woodrow Gulley; aunt, Rhonda Schaeffer and cousin, Tiffany Schaeffer.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Erlewein Mortuary, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Park Chapel Christian Church, 1176 E McKenzie Rd, Greenfield, IN 46140. Pastor Doug Bohall will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
