GREENFIELD — An Indianapolis man will serve a three-year sentence after he admitted to having an inappropriate relationship with a young girl, according to court records.
Nicholas Redd-Klingsmith, 21, pleaded guilty to sexual misconduct with a minor as a Level 5 felony, court records show. He was charged in August after a girl told police they had sex near her Greenfield home, police said.
Redd-Klingsmith and the girl began exchanging messages over social media a few months after they met, court documents state. Eventually those messages became sexual, and they began a physical relationship, the girl told police.
Redd-Klingsmith remains in the Hancock County Jail. He is prohibited from having contact with the victim, court records show.
