Jane B. Shue, 90, of Greenfield, died Jan. 22, 2016, at Kindred Healthcare in Greenfield. She was born May 10, 1925, in Hancock County, Ind., to the late Ralph Ginley and Effie Elizabeth (Bruner) Ginley-Collins.
She was a 1947 graduate of St. John’s Hickey Memorial School of Nursing and worked as a nurse for Chicago Lying Women’s Hospital and Hancock Regional Hospital from 1958-78. She was active in 4H growing up, O.E.S. #88 of Warsaw from 1943 until present, twice Worthy Matron, former Grand Representative in Indiana for Saschatawan (Eastern Star) and the Warsaw American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her sons, Robert (Janis) Shue of Oklahoma City, Okla., Eric (Cathy) Shue of Elkhorn, Calif. and her grandson, Derek (Ashley) Shue of Santa Barbara, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents listed above and her husband, Floyd Shue in 1989.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home Pasco Chapel. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
