Lois Griesse Hoyer, 86, of Greenfield, died Jan. 5, 2016. Lois was born on Feb.17, 1929, in Alma, MO to the late Reverend August Henry and Lydia Louise (Wassman) Griesse.
Lois had faith and works which led all her children to Jesus. Lois worked as a nurse and after retiring enjoyed the country and nature. She was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wisconsin and most recently, Holy Cross Lutheran in Indianapolis.
She is survived by her daughters Denise Harvey and husband Bruce, Diane Froiland and husband James, Karen Nowak and husband Rick, Jennifer Van Kauwenburgh and husband Peter, son Brian and wife Cheryl, sister Doris Snyder and husband Dave, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Philip Hoyer.
visitation one hour prior to the service in the funeral center.
Memorial services will be held Saturday Jan, 16th at 11am at Flanner and Buchanan- Floral Park.
