Dewey Wyatt, 90, of Knightstown, passed away Friday evening, December 11, 2015 at Golden Living Center Brandywine in Greenfield. He was born Aug. 1, 1925, in Rowan County, Ky., the son of the late Fred and Goldia Wyatt.
Dewey worked at Goodwin’s Auto in Knightstown for 30 years, Wyatt’s Carpet & Furniture and was employed with Muncie Construction for 10 years.
Survivors include his wife, Amelia Wyatt of Knightstown; daughter, Natalie Beckler of Knightstown; grandchildren, Tommy Beckler and Audrey Warren; three sisters, Lorna Young, Rebecca Hawkins and Sharon Waggoner and two brothers, Theron Wyatt and James Wyatt.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Elaine Rinehart and Alice Lee; brothers, Junior Leon Wyatt, Dillard C. Wyatt, Victor Wyatt, Eugene Wyatt, Kenneth Wyatt and Ivan Wyatt.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Tim Basford officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove cemetery in Knightstown. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015.
