Wright Brothers Band
The Wright Brothers Band will open the series with its blend of patriotic pop, rock and country.
The band has been together for 35 years and now features second-generation performers.
Swing Shift Indy

On June 12, Swing Shift Indy will bring the look and feel of the big bands of the 40s to the plaza. This 18-member ensemble has played at the Indiana Roof Ballroom and as part of the pop series at Garfield Park.
Cook & Belle
Originally from Muncie, Nashville recording artists Cook and Belle will perform June 19. Cook and Belle have opened for such acts as Randy Travis, the Charlie Daniels Band, Lonestar and Montgomery Gentry. Their most recent CD, “First Love to Last” mixes soul, country and gospel.
New Odyssey
New Odyssey has played throughout the Midwest and will be in Greenfield on June 26. This three-man group begins its show with 30 instruments placed strategically around the stage. The performers then deliver on their promise to play them all. Their song set includes everything from Frankie Valli to the Beatles to Iron Butterfly to Flatt and Scruggs.
Indianapolis Municipal Band
The roots of the Indianapolis Municipal Band stretch back to 1949 when it was an employee activity for Detroit-Diesel Allison. This 75-piece volunteer band plays just 12 concerts a year and will be at the plaza July 3 for a patriotic-themed event.
Dr. Rock and The Rollers
Dr. Rock and the Rollers, a self-described “good-time, rock ‘n’ roll 50s/60s band,” featuring Darry Hood, has played at the Hancock County Public Library, the James Dean Festival, the Knightstown Summer Car Show, the New Castle Arts Park Festival and at class reunions throughout central Indiana. The band returns to the plaza July 10.
Director’s Jazz Orchestra
The Director’s Jazz Orchestra, under the direction of Chris Taylor, is the resident band of the Madison County Jazz Festival and has played with jazz notables such as Roger Ingram, Wycliffe Gordon, Greg Bissonette and Tom Garling. Their appearance at Entertainment on the Plaza is scheduled for July 17.
The Tides
The series closes out July 24 with The Tides, a trio of musicians whose specialty is creative arrangements of family-friendly music with Michael Beck on percussion and vocals, Dane Dye on bass and vocals, and Seth Jenkins on keyboard, guitar and vocals.
