FORTVILLE — Mt. Vernon officials are considering stocking epinephrine pens in school clinics, similar to a policy change Greenfield-Central recently made.
The stock epinephrine would be available in case a student or staff member had an allergic reaction to a bee sting or food but did not have a prescription pen on hand.
The Mt. Vernon school board briefly discussed the idea Monday; another reading of the policy will be conducted next month.
