Collection event slated for Saturday
HANCOCK COUNTY — The Hancock County Solid Waste Management District will conduct its next collection event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Covance, 671 S. Meridian St., Greenfield.
Items that can be dropped off include hazardous waste for $5 a carload, electronics for $5 a carload, document shredding for $3 a box, tires $4.50 to $5 each after the first two (which are free) and reusable latex paint for $1.50 a gallon.
