GREENFIELD — The online portion of the ISTEP+ exam begins today in Hancock County schools and administrators are bracing for computer glitches.
Students have been holding practice tests for the last week and have been experiencing several problems, including log-in errors and frozen screens. Similar problems were reported back in January when a so-called “stress test” was conducted to determine how many students across the state could be simultaneously on the online system.
Administrators at Greenfield-Central and Mt. Vernon schools said Wednesday that they were expecting similar problems on the exam Wednesday.
