Technology teacher wins national award

GREENFIELD — Greenfield-Central High School teacher Gary Wynn earned the Lockette/Monroe Humanitarian Award from the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association.

Wynn, a Greenfield-Central teacher for 41 years, spoke at a recent conference of the group. The award was given for Wynn’s effort to promote humanistic values while serving as a technology and engineering educational professional.

Throughout the years, Wynn has spoken in 25 states and has been to 46 states to promote technology in education.
