Fines and sentences
The following fines and sentences were imposed recently in Hancock Superior Court 2:
Feb. 4
Justin Parsley pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated; sentenced to 60 days in jail with 10 days executed and 50 days suspended; 355 days drug and alcohol probation; victim impact panel. Fine and cost: $768.
Feb. 17
Tyler Shields pleaded guilty to fleeing law enforcement; sentenced to 60 days in jail with 60 days executed; sentence to run concurrent with previous Hancock County court case. Fine and cost: $168.
David M. Smithers pleaded guilty to invasion of privacy; sentenced to 365 days in jail with eight days executed and 357 days suspended; 357 days formal probation; no contact with the victim. Fine and cost: $168.50.
Joseph J. White pleaded guilty to check deception; sentenced to 365 days in jail with 365 days suspended; 365 days informal probation; restitution to Smith Implements for $650 plus $30 protest fee. Fine and cost: $168.50.
Cynthia Boyce pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated; sentenced to 365 days in jail with six days executed and 359 days suspended; 359 days drug and alcohol probation; victim impact panel; driver’s license suspended 42 days. Fine and cost: $768.
