Doris I. Moos, 80, of Mooresville, passed away at Springhurst Health Campus in Greenfield, on Monday, March 16, 2015. She was born June 15, 1934, in Hancock County, to the late Dallas W. and Ethyl Fern (Robbins) True.
Doris graduated from New Palestine High School and worked for the Warren Township School District for 27 years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Church in Mooresville.
Doris is survived by sons Dennis R. (Pam) Moos of Fortville and Gary A. Moos of Southport; special daughter-in-law Dawn Moos of Noblesville; sister Frances P. Walters of Franklin; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip R. Moos; daughter Debra L. Dowling; son Gregory D. Moos; and sister Beulah I. Kuhn.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2015, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. A celebration of Doris’s life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
