Magdaline (Poor) Cross, 90, of Greenfield, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at Kindred Transitional Care in Greenfield. She was born on Sept. 23, 1924, in Byrdstown, Tenn., as the daughter of Harve and Leona (Koger) Poor.
Magdaline is survived by her son, Robert (Betty) Cross, Jr. of McCordsville; sister, Ida Barber of New Castle; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harve and Leona (Koger) Poor; husband, Robert W. Cross; brothers, Delmar Poor and Dale Poor; three sisters, Christelle Poor, Viola James; Minnie Hatfield; and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 124 E. Staat Street, Fortville, IN 46040. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 2 p.m. Chaplain Gary Scott will be officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville, Ind.
