Nancy (Hamilton) Fraley, 75, of Greenfield passed away on Tuesday, July 29 at Hancock Regional Hospice.
Nancy was born on Nov. 15, 1938, in Detroit, MI, to the late Robert and Margaret Hamilton. She married Howard E. Fraley in 1954. Nancy worked many part time jobs, including working at the Senior Citizen Center and at Day-Away Adult Day Care at St. Johns before retiring from work in 2002. She was a member of the Lions Club, and a part of many bowling leagues. She was a well-known cook, which she loved to do. She enjoyed canning and freezing, and also sewing and singing. She often made clothes for people in need; she was very selfless, and loved helping others.
Nancy is survived by her children, Karen (Bob) Aust, Howard Fraley Jr., Charles Fraley, Donna (Tom) Love, Debbie (Chris) Gilliam, and Donna Griffin; her brother, John Miller; a sister, Mary Beaudette; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard; and her brothers, Richard, Robert, and Ray Hamilton.
A public visitation for Nancy will be on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. Funeral services will be immediately after at 1. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery.
