Wanda Louise Ridgley, 89, of Waterford, Connecticut and formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on July 26, 2014. She was born in Scottsville, Kentucky to Asberry and Mamie Maynard.
She retired from Sears after 35 years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and doing for her family. She is a former member of First Baptist Church of Greenwood.
Surviving is her daughter, Judy Brown; her brother, Bill (Margie) Maynard; her grandchildren, Greg (Leslie) Brown and Cindy (Michael) Stotts; and great-grandchildren, David (Chyna) Spencer, Krista (Michael) Duncan, Graham Brown and Greyson Brown.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob Ridgley; her sister, Betty Reneau; and her brother, Red Maynard.
Friends may call from 4 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Flanner and Buchanan.
