William Edward Spencer, 73, of McCordsville, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 12, 1939, in Bartholomew County to the late Harold E. and Ruth Marie (Skinner) Spencer.
He is survived by his wife of over 43 years, Sandra (Pierce) Spencer of McCordsville; son, Mark (Lori) Spencer of Fortville; daughter, Erin (Matthew) Kent of Greenfield; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville. A Celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hawcreek Cemetery, Hope, Ind.
