Thelma Louise Johns, 89, of Indianapolis, died on Nov. 20, 2012. She was born on Oct. 3, 1923, in Scottsville, Ky., she was the daughter of William and Mary McGuire Howell.
Surviving her is her husband, Ross D. Johns of Indianapolis; son, Daniel R. Johns of Bedford; daughter, Sharon M. (Terry) Mudder of Olive Branch, Miss.; brother, Orlis Howell of Seymour; daughter-in-law, Nancy Johns of Fountaintown; seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; son, James R. Johns; grandson, Bradley Harris; sister, Gladys Atwood; and brothers, Ruble Howell, Harold Howell, Elmore Howell, and Floyd Howell.
Visitation will be from Noon – 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will take place at Fountaintown Cemetery.
