Rodney P. Allen, 66, of Fortville, died June 8, 2012, at Community Hospital North. He was born March 10, 1946 in Wichita Falls, TX., to Harry B. and Florence (Mings) Allen.
He had served in the Marine Corp. Reserves.
Surviving him is his wife, Sharon Allen; son, Phillip R. (Melissa) Allen of Cumberland; and 3 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; half-brother William Allen; and daughter Abigail Amaris Allen.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Abundant Life Church, 7606 E. 82nd St., Indianapolis, IN. 46256. A fellowship meal will follow the service, with location information available at the memorial service.
