Emogene Slone, 88, of Greenfield died Friday, June 8, 2012, at Hancock Regional Hospital, Greenfield. She was born April 5, 1924, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Edgar & Mamie (Mackie) Gresham.
She is survived by her son, James (Barbara) Slone of New Palestine; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; several nieces; and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel in 1992; a son, William; siblings, Louie, Ernest, Pearl, Harrison and J.C.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Greenwood. Visitation will Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
