Mary Isabel VanDuyn, 92 of Greenfield, passed away Thursday evening May 31, 2012, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
She was born Oct. 2, 1919, in Spiceland, the daughter of the late Oliver and Emma (Turner) Barrett.
Isabel was a lifelong homemaker, and member of Greensboro Nazarene Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, crocheting and gardening.
Survivors include three daughters; Jeanette Merriman of Greenfield, Kay (Tony) Henry of Shirley, Terry (Rusty) Low of Greenfield, two sons; Allen (Patricia) VanDuyn of Knightstown, Hal (Cindy) VanDuyn of Wilkinson; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterle VanDuyn; granddaughter, Jennifer Henry; seven brothers; two sisters; and one great-grandson, Blake Richardson.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, June 4, 2012, at Condo and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Roberts and Pastor Ernie Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service.
