Leota Plank Wilson, 89, Indianapolis, died May 26, 2012, in Indianapolis. Leota was born on March 13, 1923, in Hillsdale, Ind. to Albert A. and Evelyn C. Plank.
She married John D. Wilson, Jr. in 1941. He passed away in 2002. She retired from Western Electric and was a member of Post Road Christian Church.
Leota is survived by her children, Judy Diane (Terry) King and Jerry D. (Senora) Wilson; sisters, Paulene Haughee and Marlene Manley; brothers, Joe and Jim Plank; as well as 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother; seven sisters; and one grandchild.
Friends may call from 4-7p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 107422 E. Washington St, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at the Funeral Center.
