Jean (Moore) Dowell, 77, of Ingalls, died Saturday, May 26, 2012, at home surrounded by her family. She was born September 30, 1934, in Bainbridge, Ind., to the late Charles and Hazel (Prewitt) Moore.
She is survived by her husband Leo F. Dowell whom she married November 9, 1959, sons, Joseph Paul “JP” Dowell and Ronnie Jenkins; and 1 granddaughter.
Jean was preceded in death by daughter Debbie Arend; and siblings, Charles Moore, Susie Ballenger, Marvin Moore, Lula Belle Jenkins and Loretta Moore.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville. Friends may call from noon until the time of service. Burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville. Online condolences may be shared at www.sealsfuneralhome.com.
