Christopher K. Tansy, 60, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Born on August 5, 1951, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Albert and Denise (Parmentier) Tansy.
He graduated from North Central High School in 1969. He married Patricia Lee (Runyon) Tansy on September 10, 1971, in Indianapolis.
Chris worked as a forklift driver for both Jenn-Air and Peerless Pump in Indianapolis. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite, he also enjoyed fishing.
Surviving him are his wife, Pat Tansy of Greenfield; sons, Nick A. Tansy of Chicago and Jacob M. Tansy of Greenfield; and brother, Eugene F. Tansy of Indianapolis.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Albert and Denise Tansy.
Visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at North Eastwood Christian Church, 9425 E. 30th St. Indianapolis, IN 46229. Funeral services will immediately follow. Pastor Paul Lubbers will be officiating.
