Joann R. Mosier, 82, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2011, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis, and was a resident of Indianapolis and formerly of Greenfield. She was born on Jan. 30, 1930, in Indianapolis, to the late Mentor W. and Mary G. (Stinnett) Reed.
Joann was a homemaker and retired Unit Secretary for Community Hospital, Indianapolis. She was an avid reader that loved spending time with her family and Chihuahua “Penny”.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Jo ( Jim) Floyd of Indianapolis, Cynthia Ann Mosier of Tucson, Ariz.; son, Steven Reed (Terri) Mosier of Indianapolis; sister; Donna Jean Belch of Ft. Wayne; granddaughter, Allison Joann Stevens; grandsons, Daniel and Larry Langford; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bert H. Mosier, Jr. and step mother, Helen M. (Hurley) Reed.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday May 23, 2012, at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at Noon on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
