Mary E. Harmon, 80, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 2, 2012. She was born on Jan. 23, 1932, in Indianapolis to the late Floyd E. and Mable Luke Thompson.
Mary worked in Naval Avionics for many years and was a former member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Greenfield. She currently attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church of Indianapolis.
Mary is survived by her loving children, Patricia J. (Steve) Ross, Timothy J. (Diane), Daniel J. (Patti), and Thomas J. (Tina M.) Harmon; sister, Judy Thompson; brother, Floyd Thompson Jr.; eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Harmon; son, Christopher J. Harmon; and sister, Barbara Long.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2012, at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel 9606 E. Washington St. with services from 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 East 10th St, Indianapolis.
